Poisoned Past is a very twisted mystery with a side of romance. ER nurse Nina, her daughter Ana and her therapy dog Ginger volunteer in Nina's spare time. They meet Kyle when he is in therapy following an automobile accident. Despite concern about why her ex wants to see her, Nina, Ana, Kyle and Ginger are excited to attend the library Christmas party. At the party, the head librarian collapses. Enough background. Read this exciting drama as Nina experiences a home invasion, strange phone calls and the feeling she is being followed. The plot thickens when Paul, Nina's ex seems to be everywhere, threatening he wants visitation with his daughter and more. Danger seems to be around every corner as Kyle and Nina race to piece together what Paul really wants before someone else is harmed. The dramatic conclusion ties everything together nicely in this well plotted book.

Nona is a kind, friendly mom raising her daughter. Things go awry when her ex-husband sends her a letter after seven years of no contact. Weird things start happening, even causing near death. Hooked from the start. Clam Cove is in full blown Christmas mode and Nina is doing her best to give her daughter, Ana, a good Christmas. But when Nina learns her ex, Paul, is stalking her, everything changes. While trying to keep her stress from Ana, Nina and her friends seek out Paul, and Nina grows closer to Kyle. This is a fast-paced romantic suspense and a great addition to the Danger at the Cove series.
