About this ebook

Moisés Guzmán, a recently retired Spanish National Police officer, has purchased a small apartment in the town of Blanes, Catalonia, where he plans to spend his first summer as a pensioner. His neighbors - a young girl fleeing from her abusive father, a retired writer obsessed with finishing his last book, and a solitary man who's always with his dog - all live on the same block. During his first week, a man dies inside a car after stopping at a traffic light in the former policeman's street. Although it appears to be an accident, it's actually the result of a crime. Everything becomes more complicated when the Blanes Autonomous Police Squad zeroes in on his three new neighbors as possible culprits.
