About this ebook

Falling in love was dangerous. Falling for a vampire could start a war.

Seventeen-year-old Gertie Morgan’s summer in Athens was supposed to be life-changing.

She just didn’t expect it to be supernatural.

When she meets Jeno—a breathtakingly handsome vampire with a mysterious past—Gertie is swept into a hidden world beneath the ancient city. His bite awakens something inside her: strength, confidence . . . and feelings she can’t ignore.

But Athens is divided.

Vampires and demigods have been enemies for centuries, and Hector—a fierce and loyal guardian with ties to the gods—warns Gertie that falling for Jeno could have devastating consequences.

Torn between two powerful boys on opposite sides of a brewing war, Gertie must decide where her heart truly belongs.

Because in a city built on legends, love isn’t just complicated—

It’s dangerous.

In this irresistible young adult paranormal romance set in modern Greece, passion and prophecy collide as one girl’s choice could change everything.

This book kept me on my toes. It was fast paced. There was a lot of Greek mythology in it. I loved how this was woven throughout the story along with Gertie arriving in Greece. I liked the characters but sort of wish we had more focus eon each. Gertie was sometimes a pain. But I liked her most of them time. I was equally drawn to Hector and Jeno. Maybe it will be reverse harem kind of thing lol. I’m not sure why but Phoebe got on my nerves so had. I wanted to shake her. But I can see why she is like she is now. The ending was amazing. It’s sort of a Cliff hanger which sucked. But I didn’t see the ending coming. This wil Be a big thing for book two. The narration is ok for the audiobook. She’s not the best but not too bad. Her male voices aren’t very good at all and it sounds like a computer reading it
