I really tried to like it because I expected to love it. I love me a sweet irish love story or drama. I feel the Irish should have their own separate subsets in "genres". I wanted to love this book but two weeks in, I'm only on page 92 and I find that I just don't care about Kate or Todd or Iris' secrets or even poor Archie. I just don't so I am throwing in the towel. As a READER I hate not finishing a book but I don't expect this to get any more interesting or to have a revelation that would make up for the minutes of my life spent slogging through "Secrets We Kept". It's written oddly; a lot of commas where I would expect new sentences, or something; I find myself restructuring paragraphs as I read. That isn't why I'm giving up , though. I just don't care enough to finish. I hate that, and I'm sorry for the poor review but I did try.

Faith lives in the west of Ireland with her husband, four children and two very fussy cats. She has an Hons Degree in English Literature and Psychology, has worked as a fashion model and in the intellectual disability and mental health sector.
