Albina knows what she wants but how far will she go to achieve it. As unique as her name Lady Albina is captivating. She has the gumption to dream bring and the heart to make her wildest dreams a reality. Her inner beauty and sense of adventure fly right off the page. Her willingness to achieve her goals however is not always in her best interest and lands her in an unlikely situation. Falling in love with the wrong man. Edmund has the heart, and adventurous spirit to be her perfect match. All he has to do is convince her that he's the man she wants. I received an ARC of To Win a Viscount in exchange for an honest review. There were times the story faltered but nothing major. Despite that it remained full of great qualities. The title doesn't make the man, the heart does. Beautiful message with a charming story.

To Win a Viscount #2 in "Daughters of Amhurst" by Frances Fowlkes is a unique Regency Historical Romance. While, Book 2, it can be read as a stand alone. Set in 1820 England. This is the story of Albina Beauchamp and Edmund White. Albina is in love with the Marquess of Satterfield, but he's only sees horses. So Albina, enlists the help of Edmund, a groomsmen in the Amhurst employ. She wishes to be a winning horse jockey. Edmund loves horses and stables, so he agrees to teach Albina about horses, as well as, use a bit of seduction. Edmund, is the heir to a viscountcy, himself, but loves horses, ans doesn't wish the responsibilities involved in a Vicountcy. What follows is a story in love blossoming into a HEA. In the beginning, Albina, is a bit self-centered, naive, and a frustrating, young lady. It was interesting to watch her grow into herself, become, a kind and charming young lady. Edmund, is kind, patient, encouraging, amiable with an adventurous spirit. I enjoyed watching Albina and Edmund's love blossom. Steady paced, uniquely written with well-developed characters. Fans of horses, horse racing, life's lessons and finding out life has many twists and turns, and love developes in very strange circumstances, will enjoy "To Win a Viscount". A sweet, and engaging Regency Romance. Received for an honest review from Net Galley. Rating: 4 Heat rating: Mild Reviewed by: AprilR
