This book is so slow for me. I've had both books now for a few years & I can't get passed chapter 2. I absolutely loved This present Darkness.

Brilliant, couldn't put it down. Frank Peretti is a master storyteller! I first read Piercing the Darkness at age 16. Now, 24 years later, made even more of an impact. Wow!

Every so often you come across a story that completely grips you from beginning to end, keeps you awake into the early hours and leaves you questioning reality long after you put it down. This is a masterpiece in storytelling, carefully woven threads of intense, emotional, drama that comes together in a climatic final act with a conclusion you'll never see coming. This is the book that made me start writing, I've worn through my paper copy of this and have read it repeatedly each time finding something new.
