"Well, after this, I certainly won't be about fluffy bunnies and sunshine anymore." ⁣ After the horrific night that the investor's ball turned out to be, everything has changed. Vail was left standing in the middle of the woods wondering where Penelope vanished to and what happened at the winery. Penelope has found herself back in the human world again feeling completely lost, wanting to return home and needing answers. Vail and Penelope have the same goal to get her back to their world, after finding out some very big secrets and get their revenge, only things do not go the way they were planned. ⁣ I was excited to return to this world to try and get some answers that were left over after Royally Drained. We got the answers that were left unanswered with some interesting twists and turns along the way but we are left wondering how things will end. It is hard to talk about my favourite parts of the book without worrying that I am giving too much away. Vail and Penelope's return to each other is a slow burn that you do not realize is slow since the story flows and keeps you engaged. I would have loved a little bit more from the crew of misfits but I am sure we will get a lot more of them in Royally Revamped. In the immortal words of Grump, I give it a ten out of ten *hiccup*.

•Royally Enchanting• After being left with such a shocking cliffhanger in Royally Drained, I couldn’t wait to make my return trip to Morningwood with Royally Cursed! Now that I have, I can say without a doubt, I’m booking my return ticket for Royally Revamped!!! This upside down fairytale rollercoaster ride is one of the most intriguing and and enthralling stories I’ve ever read. With this being the second book in the series, Fritzi Cox hits us with the meat and potatoes and the old idiom of “the plot thickens” applies in a multitude of ways. The storylines are SO well thought out and done in such a way that they’ll keep you on your toes. If I had to name JUST one aspect, and trust me it’s not easy to narrow it to just one, that was my favorite to this book it would have to be getting a bit of a closer look at the brothers, especially Drake. They were of particular interest to me in the first book and I enjoyed the way this book took us a step closer to them. I look forward to seeing the dynamic after the amazing cliffhanger we are given. I can’t get enough of these books, I’ll be counting down the seconds until the finale!

I totally love this series and this second part of this story is pack with so much, once I started reading I couldn't put my kindle down. This story picks up right after the heartbreaking events of book one "Royally Drained". Penelope finds herself far away from home and with a broken hearth. Likely for her she finds friends and now she has a mission to go back home. In this book Penelope's character is evolving. She is no longer the naive princess she used to be. She is more mature and determine to obtain what she wants. I absolutely love her character. Vail is shock after all the terrible things he witness. He has lost so much and is desperately looking for the one thing that made his heart beat. Some shocking revelations are discover, some amazing characters make an appearance (that I absolutely adore) and there are all the elements that made this series so unique, a fairy tale vibe with dark humour with suspense, magical elements, friendship and passion. I can't wait for the next book .
