About the author
Dannesya’s journey as a writer is one of resilience, creativity, and learning. A survivor of lupus and polymyositis—two autoimmune conditions that brought sudden motor loss and uncertainty into her life—she discovered storytelling as both a refuge and a way to process life’s challenges. Writing has become her way of connecting with others, sharing experiences, and finding meaning in the most unexpected places.
Dannesya holds a degree in International Relations from Universitas Airlangga, a Master’s in Sociology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Melbourne. She is currently pursuing further studies in Law at Universitas Terbuka. Her diverse academic background has enriched her storytelling by offering insights into human behavior, culture, and societal challenges. Each of these experiences weaves its way into her narratives, allowing her to approach storytelling with depth, empathy, and a nuanced understanding of the human condition.
With nine novels published in Indonesian with major publishers and numerous indie works under the pen names Dannesya and Tizzz, she dives into themes of love, survival, ambition, and self-discovery.
