About this ebook

Step into the soul of a single day, where sunlight sways with precocious softness, dreams dissolve like dew, and each moment is both fleeting and eternal.

Touch Of An Angel is a collection of meditative poems that explore the passage of time through the gentle lens of nature and light. With quiet reverence and philosophical intimacy, these poems invite readers to slow down and become present to the grace of a moment, however ephemeral. From the hush of early dawn to the blush of twilight, G.D. Lee offers tender metaphors for transformation, connection, and self-awareness. Drifting like a whisper on the wind, an unseen angel moves through these verses, gently illuminating the beauty we might otherwise overlook. Each page serves as an invitation to contemplate the clouds, to feel the colours of the sky, to hold space for the emotional undercurrents that shape our everyday lives.

For readers who find meaning in silence, beauty in brevity, and truth in nature’s rhythms, this collection becomes more than just poetry—it becomes a companion in reflection.

About the author

G.D. Lee is a first-time author whose poetic voice was awakened by a profound shift in life’s rhythm; retirement and a subsequent series of near-death experiences deepened his connection to the natural world and his own inner landscape. Though new to publishing, his writing is steeped in a lifetime of quiet observation, personal resilience, and a yearning to explore the spirit within. A widower living on a quiet golf resort near Vernon, British Columbia, Lee draws inspiration from the soft beauty of his surroundings. When not writing, he enjoys music, reading, long walks in nature, and the simple pleasures of a day well spent.
