This well written novella definitely captured my attention. Showalter’s enticing writing style mad the story easy to read. Her graphic and vivid descriptions bring the entire world to life in a big way. The characters in this story were definitely one of a kind. The contrast between how the characters see themselves vs how they see each other was both comical and heartbreaking. This novella was the perfect introduction into the world in which Showalter’s series will take place. It’s an intriguing story that gives you the history for upcoming events without giving too much away.

I have been reading her books for a while and truely believe the series are amazing. Don't let comments of other determine you chance of this wonderful adventure. :)

It was good but i much prefer the actual series. And it seemed a little rushed but it is after all a short story. Hehe
