Ratings and reviews

Love both versions for their own reasons but they are almost 2 different stories with some similarities. It's like any Robin Hood story that no 2 are a like but with few similarities. This version of the story is worth every page with characters you care about while others you patiently wait for that satisfying moment. It still leaves you wondering what if the story was written that way on purpose leaving little room for the antagonist.

A Game of Thrones was an epic fantasy adventure that I couldn't put down. The world-building was incredible, and the characters were complex and fascinating. The plot was full of twists and turns, and I was constantly guessing what would happen next. The ending was a cliffhanger that left me wanting more. If you're a fan of fantasy, this is a must-read.

incredibly dull had pacing problem, mainly it doesn't have one, as story unfolds way too slow an issue made so much worse with perspectivea split between multiple characters, description of the settings and clothing leans more towards bland and bloat. As the story written prior to medieval blockbusters tries to paint an image that the reader could do now without the need for multiple paragraphs just to describe a room.
