About the author

Georgi Radev is an award-winning global bartender with a love for all things tropical. He has managed one of the most famous bars in London, Mahiki, for over a decade; has travelled all over the world to learn and teach about rum, tiki and cocktails; and is the creator of the unique British Festival, Spirit of Tiki. His latest venture is a brand-new London bar and authentic "tropical escape", Laki Kane. Unique in its approach, Laki Kane is the first bar in the world not to use refined sugar in any cocktails, and is the first bar to have an on-site micro rum distillery. It prides itself on providing a truly tropical experience, with the decor inspired by all major tropical regions and the drinks flavoured with traditional tropical ingredients.
