About the author

Gil Zohar was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Jerusalem in 1982. He is a journalist writing for The Jerusalem Post, Segula magazine and other publications. As well, he's a professional tour guide who likes to weave together the Holy Land's multiple narratives. Gil wrote 100 pages of Fodor's Guide to Israel (7th edition, 2009) and has written tourism promotion material for Israel's Ministry of Tourism.
