About the author

Giorgio Alleva is Professor at the Department of Methods and Models for Economics, Territory and Finance (MEMOTEF) at the Faculty of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome. He is the President of ISTAT since 2014.

Andrea Giommi is Professor at the Department of Statististics, Computer Science, Applications ‘Giuseppe Parenti‘ DiSIA.
