I have read every one of his books and have mostly enjoyed all of them. I am not really sure why he would team up with an actress on this one but I was hopeful it would be up to par with his others. Honestly, it had a lot of fluff to it and was not at all suspenseful. I am disappointed in this one and would recommend you wait to purchase it when it goes on sale. In the future I hope he sticks to authoring his own books and going back to the fast paced suspenseful ones we all love.

Was really engaged in the story til I hit about 45% of the book read. In the space of one chapter the plot became so ridiculous that I just gave up on it. A simply ridiculous plot twist that would just require too much effort to keep following. My wife liked it but I wouldn't recommend it

This book was hard to put down, in fact the only time I put it down was for one sleep and one work shift. Following the main character through heartbreak, hope, intrigue, danger, escape, and awakening was an incredible journey. The details in each scene, each event, each character, woven into a gripping storyline all came together in a way that exemplified Reese's brilliant spirit and Harlan's mastery for storytelling.
