From the very first pages, I was hooked on this story and its main character. Kearce made for an intriguing protagonist — his past moral choices were a bit questionable, but I quickly grew to like him and found myself rooting for his success. What began as a seemingly straightforward mystery took one unexpected turn after another, spiraling into a head-spinning twist. It's no exaggeration to say — I never saw it coming!

LOVED this book!!! It kept me on the edge of my seat, turning pages just as quickly as possible. I was completely absorbed in the story and never saw the ending coming. The characters felt flawed and real - making me feel invested in their story. The story itself has depth, along with a compelling mystery. This one is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is a master at his craft and is on my must read authors ' list.

Coben never disappoints and this latest thriller is no exception. I'm usually pretty good at least having a vague idea of where plot(s) are headed but mind blown 🤯 is an understatement this time!
