Ratings and reviews

It sounded intriguing and had potential, but it went overboard with how often the author kept emphasizing how old Barbara was. I suspect it was partially for entertainment and laughs, but it got old very fast. I was also then partially skeptical at how useful Barbara was with her old age. Otherwise, it was a quick-paced story and at least the plot didn't drag out like some books.

I enjoyed this book, as I have always enjoyed Harper Lin Books. They are always interesting, yet simple and easy to read and enjoy. I love how "Granny" Is an Ex-CIA. Harper Lin has never stopped surprising me with how the events turn out. I also love how in most of these books the main characters are in a sleepy, calm town. Then something happens and it like sets off a chain of events that are unusual for the location. It keeps the plot rolling smoothly and keeps it interesting. SO far, I have enjoyed every book i have read of Harper Lin and am planning to keep reading and enjoying :)

I admit im biased Im the star of this little wonder of a fun book. I loved it! It could lead to a whole new catagory of heros-grandmas with guns! You go girl!
