About this ebook

This picture book is a healing journey for survivors of all ages who are recovering from abuse, trauma, or loss. Written for children ages 5-10, it gives readers a soft, safe space to face their past and the strength to move through their feelings. These affirmations of self-love and hope are universal and timeless. The words are paired with soothing scenes of childhood wonder and innocence. These pages help guide the reader, whether young or old, gently through the darkness and lovingly back into the light.

Never Let Go is deeply moving and powerful. The simplicity and warmth of the words make it accessible to children, yet the emotional depth resonates with adults who are healing from trauma. The tone is perfect for reaching those who are in pain. The illustrations feature themes of comfort and light in calming color palettes. Resources for kids, caregivers, and adults are included to help readers seek further support.

These are the words that I needed to hear and that others have told me that they longed to hear. Whether you're a hurting kid or an adult with a wounded inner child, may this book be a balm for your soul.
