About this ebook

Elodie Harper is a girl divided.

It’s been four years since she’s traveled to the magical world of her birth. Four years of waiting for another opportunity to investigate the spell holding her hostage in a magicless world. Four years of bad dreams and algebra tests to remind her she has absolutely no control over her life and her fate.

When at last she falls again into her home world, breaking her own spell becomes the least of her worries as she finds herself on the run for her life.

If you do anything this summer, freaking read these gorgeous books! I just finished A Misplaced Hope, and am trapped in a glass case of emotions. I can't recommend A Misplaced Child and A Misplaced Hope enough, I'm so blown away by them. They're so much fun to read, I was captivated the entire time. It's all I could think about since the second book came out, and every time I had to put it down all I wanted to do was pick it back up and keep going. For real, add these to your summer reading list, and thank me later.

Fantastic follow up to a misplaced hope. Integrates a bit more teen drama, but without losing the feel of the first book. Familiar, but with a nice change up. Don’t want to give anything away, but it’s a great step forward in the story in a few different ways. Familiar “faces”, new names, and lots of twists and turns. You won’t be disappointed.

A Misplaced Hope (book 2 in the Misplaced child series) is great! I totally recommend it. Heather Michelle was able to age the misplaced children into teenagers with such a variety of strong personalities. I loved the relationship between Silas' horse Storm, and Elodie. The ending made me mad, but in a good way (sort of ((spoilers)) but I won't give it away. I am ready for book 3.

About the author

Growing up, Heather Michelle spent more time living in her imagination than outside of it. Small town life sandwiched between the redwood forests and the Pacific ocean provided a rich scope for the imagination. Before the age of twelve, Heather Michelle was not a reader, but a chance encounter with a rented audiobook launched her into the vast world of the printed word, and she never looked back. She currently lives in Acworth, GA with her cat Mister Bingley and a slew of unique roommates.
