The Christians answered difficult questions by saying that With God All Things Are Possible, while today’s materialists say that there are an infinite number of worlds where one of them must necessarily be like ours. The ancient Chinese philosopher Gongsun Long once said that if you have a ruler and take away half of it every day, then even if you spend an eternity it will never be gone. Put another way: There are an infinite number of worlds, but infinity is only used to define the famous metre standard in Paris in an infinity of different ways. Infinity does not guarantee an infinity of variations. However, these are the mental images the rationalist uses to keep the actual universe at a distance.

Materialism is not a philosophy, it is a domination technique conceived in the inner chambers of the soul… the opposite of materialism is not idealism or spiritualism, it is optimism!

As a philosopher, Henry Berg does not seek to belong to a school or a network of philosophers, the only authority is the truth. The first edition of the book "poor machine..." came in 2016 as a printed book. The content of this new and second edition (2022) is doubled, and can appear as a collection of essays. His books have been purchased by the Norwegian state for distribution to the country's libraries.
