About this ebook

An inventive and action-packed mix of fantasy, science fiction, and mythology, all in a realistic contemporary setting.

Rowan has won a battle, but not the war. With proper allies, Rowan’s armies could storm the demon stronghold, capture its ruler, and end the reign of demonkind. But while nations clash, a greater struggle lies elsewhere. In his desperate pursuit of Astaroth, Elias Bram scours the world for clues to the fiend’s true origins, identity, and purpose. His horrifying discoveries hint that not only is humanity at risk, but the earth itself. Its fate may depend upon three children. With their unmatchable skills, it’s up to Max McDaniels, David Menlo, and little Mina to tip the balance!
In the Tapestry’s final volume, Henry H. Neff concludes an unforgettable series in which magic can live, gods can die, and the highest stakes require the greatest sacrifice.

It was great. I love fantasy books like this, but this one really stood out to me. The ending was great and I loved how you teased glimpses of Max's true form. The only issue I had was Max making stupid decisions, like killing the Fomorian. Kind of irrelevant, but I think it would be really interesting to see a version of the story where Max chose to listen to the Morrigan after killing Prasuis.

As an avid fan of Mr. Neff, I must admit my opinion on this conclusion is wholly biased. The book had me enraptured, and the ending (particularly the final page) drew tears. As Neff says, it's a bittersweet goodbye to the characters we've come to grow and love, but there's a time for everything. Now I can only hope and pray he continues the (splendid) Impyrium series!

When I first started reading the conclusion to this wonderful journey of a flawed and human demigod hero, I had expectations in mind as I had of all other heroes' stories, but Mr. Neff had squashed all my expectations, weaving the story this way and that that I could not predict what was going to happen next. As each hardship passed, forgotten yet remembered, the reader still feels a pinge of emptiness in his or her heart, and finally, Mr. Neff refills the void with a brighter light, the brightest light of a family's love.
