I purchased this book after studying for the exam with other material to ensure it is retained. I used this book in conjunction with other resources and previous human service books. Having graduated in 2010, the book reviewed terms that were learned. The book, as it relate to the exam, did not help. If you are taking the HS_BCPE, you would probably benefit from a book with vignettes that offer a description and explanation of what applies best. The book is a great resource, but wasn't helpful with the actual exam.
