I received an ARC of Reckless Desire in exchange for an honest review. Both characters owned pieces of my heart for different reasons. Lucia's unbreakable spirit despite facing cruelty from family, society and even doubt in herself is what made her an inspirational figure. Fitzroy captured my heart because he saw potential in her when nobody else did and offered encouragement when she lost faith in herself. Isabella Bradford crafted a story of hope, faith and love that is realistic and sure to become a classic.
About the author
Isabella Bradford is a pseudonym for Susan Holloway Scott, the award-winning author of more than forty historical novels and historical romances. Her bestselling books have been published in nineteen countries and translated into fourteen languages, with more than three million copies in print. Bradford also writes as half of the Two Nerdy History Girls, an entertaining history blog that is also on Twitter and Pinterest. A graduate of Brown University, she lives with her family outside of Philadelphia.
