Shape-shifting killer squad secretly working to keep mankind safe against paranormal threat. Definitely not an original plot. Neither is new team member falls for team leader. But the added family, father figure and naive newbie being a crack shot sniper before the age of 18?interesting.

Lots of action and sexual tension. But a 17 year old can't own guns nor use a public gun range, not even in Texas. If you can ignore that it's a pretty good book

This is one of the best books I've read so far. Reece is the dangerous badass that I'd thought he be when I first started reading it. Can't wait to read Book 2. J.C Diem is probably my most favorite author I have nearly all J.C Diems's books. Can't wait to get more. You all will love this book. Peace peeps
