Lyle Tarpin is a rising Hollywood actor. He has everything anyone could have dreamed of: the friends, the money, the resources… and also the baggage that goes with it. He’s a man on a mission to right his wrongs while maintaining his “good boy” image. He has a past he’s running away from and he found and interesting way to deal with it, even if it isn’t actually dealing with it at all. In his journey to cope with his sad and unfortunate past, he avoids personal relationships and favors the occasional (and very private) call girl one night stands. That was until he found the one to make his life sweeter. In their own way, they’re both finding a way to deal with the hand life has offered them. Each of them in their particular way. Since the moment they met, the attraction they feel for each other is palpable. But it’s even more interesting how Laine is able to read Lyle from the very beginning, regardless of the way they meet and her inexperience. Due to the way they met and the circumstances that have them come together, it’s clearly there that a relationship for them is doom. It’s very interesting to see how everything around them gets them closer together and sort out a relationship that potentially shouldn’t happen. I got completely hooked up from the first few chapters. The story is fun and sexy. Their interaction, dialogues, and the series of events that makes them a real couple immersed me in their story immediately. The characters are people that you’ll adore and fall in love with.

Wicked Dirty by Julie Kenner is another love story that will sweep you off of your feet! It entranced me and made my heart and soul sing! It also made me hot and bothered from the carnal build up of passion. The slow, steady build was perfection! You will love the heroine Sugar and the hero Lyle. They are the glue the fixes each other's cracks and breaks. Wicked Dirty is another book by J Kenner that you won't want to end!

I am in awe with J. Kenner's writing. I have been reading her books since she started the Stark series and I am more than addicted with Stark World. This is what I love about these books. J. Kenner has to reference back to her previous books that has to do with the characters she writes about now. Lyle was introduced to us many moons back, and made an appearance in Dallas and Jane's books. I was impressed how point on she is with this! There is so much history and since I have reread these books, I knew right away these references were correct! It was like walking down memory lane. This is why I will forever love Julie and her books. Lyle broke my heart! That sums it up. I love him and with his past coming out in this book, I cried for him and his loss. Wicked Dirty put a lot of his personality into perspective for me. Sugar was the perfect heroine for Lyle. I loved her innocence, but at the same time this girl has spunk! She will push Lyle to his limits until he finally can find himself. Their chemistry was on key. The insta click that they have for each other was written in a way that you feel it just had to happen. It was not sappy or pushed upon. And my book husband makes an appearance ( if you have read any of my J. Kenner reviews, you will know who that is ;). I love revisiting with all the characters that show up and support Lyle. It is like coming back home for me. Wicked Dirty definitely brought the dirty to the book. I was engrossed in this book and hung on to every word written. Lyle was making noise for awhile and this is the perfect time to let his story be heard. I am obsessed with these characters. I will never stop reading these books and can not wait for Wicked Torture to be released!
