About this ebook

He’s very good at being bad…
Outwardly, Noah Carter is riding high as Stark International’s newest tech genius. Inside, he’s still reeling from the death of his wife and daughter. For years, he’s thrown himself into his work, cutting himself off from emotional ties because they hurt too damn much. But when an old girlfriend walks back into his life, Noah realizes three things: That it’s time to heal. That Kiki is the woman he wants. And that he’ll do whatever it takes to convince her.
Aspiring singer Kiki Porter remembers Noah only too well. He’s the man who ripped her heart into tiny shreds—and then stomped on it. She’d believed he was the love of her life, but then he left, and his departure left her confused and reeling. Now he’s back, and pursuing her with a sensual relentlessness that leaves her breathless.
She wants him—she does. But even though she melts in his arms, how can she trust that this time he’ll stay? Especially when long buried secrets threaten their hope for a future together…
All Wicked novels stand alone.

Second chance at love Wicked Torture grabbed me and didn’t let go until the end. I was a wreck going through all the deeply emotional and heartbreaking scenes with Noah Carter. He’d lost his wife and child and seemed lost for so many years mourning the loss. When Kiki King crosses paths with Noah, it’s a reminder he’d crushed her heart when he’d ended their engagement ten years ago. But the chemistry is there between them still, and Noah and Kiki wonder if it’s kismet, their second chance at love. I admired Kiki for her strength and fortitude, and Noah finding his heart once again. It’s sexy, sweet and soulful. J Kenner delivers another incredible, beautiful romance that will grab your heart. This story is part of the Stark World and we get a few cameo appearances from other characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Wicked Torture was amazing!!!! I FLOVE Noah's story. I knew there was something in his past that seemed to keep him guarded. When he is faced with it, he is not sure to embrace it or keep it at a distance. With that being said, Kiki is back in his life and trying so hard not to fall for Noah again. These two have the history and possibly a future together. Noah is so conflicted that it made my heart hurt for him. Wicked Torture brings in the angst, drama, and so much more. I was not expecting the background for Noah, but I see that it fitted him perfectly. I loved that we got to see a few of our friends from the Stark world. I highly recommend this book! J. Kenner keeps giving the good with her characters that have you craving and asking for more! Will Noah and Kiki get their HEA with this second chance romance?

Title: Wicked Torture Author: J. Kenner Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance Format: Ebook - ARC Pages: 300 Rating: 5 Heat: 5 Thoughts: This is such a sweet yet spicy, second chance romance. I call dibs on Noah!! He is the perfect book boyfriend. I can’t get enough of the Stark World men, perfectly written with just enough flaws to make it believable. This story will make you wonder about old flames, that’s for sure (unless you’re already with him or don’t have any worth thinking about lol). Kiki was awesome, broken but mending when she runs into Noah again. Not wanting to get hurt but unable to stay away from Noah. And Noah was so patient, yet unwilling to lose her again. Beautiful story! Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.
