Remembering Everly is the long-awaited sequel to Forgetting August. The author wove an intricate web of situations at the end of Forgetting August that left the readers yearning for this book. The author does not disappoint. August and Everly are both complex characters that find themselves in continuous limbo in their relationship with each other, and with the other people in their lives. The author has the reader traveling a slow route to the ultimate climax of the story. As August slowly regains memories of his past life, each memory affect his life, and his relationship with Everly. The book is suspenseful and I found myself turning the pages faster and faster, wanting to reach the conclusion of the complicated situation they found themselves in. The supporting characters in this book also have interesting stories and more than once, I found myself shocked by a new twist the author included. It kept me guessing until the final pages, wondering whether August and Everly would find their way back to each other or each would find their happily-ever-after with someone else. The author had me feeling sorry for the collateral damage August and Everly cause with their complex relationship and I was extremely happy with the final resolution the author reveals in the epilogue. I can't say more about that without spoiling major aspects of the story, but I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic suspense with hot romantic scenes and heart-wrenching emotions. Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
