It's time for Mr. October! Matthew is yummy! I got invested in Hannah and Matthew's story. I really liked them and they definitely had chemistry. Hannah deserves to reach her dreams. She wasn't counting on Matthew because he could alter those dreams. The canoe ride was so romantic and swoon worthy move on Matthew's part. My heart went out to Hannah because of the situation she was in with her family. Glad she had Matthew and her friends in her corner. This is the tenth book in the series and can tell you I'm sad we're getting towards the end. I love this bunch trying their hardest to save the bar.

How quickly this series is flying by. The time span of this book is pretty short. It almost all happens after Mr. September is crowned until Mr. October (Matthew) is crowned. It’s almost a continuation of the previous book since Selma (Matthew’s sister) and Easton (Hannah’s business partner) play a secondary role in this book. This truly is an insta-love story considering Matthew and Hannah have no real backstory. Loved that Hannah wasn’t afraid to be the one initiate their intimacy. My biggest issue and why I didn’t give this one five stars was an unresolved issue and the ridiculousness nature of said issue.

I truly enjoyed this short story. This was the perfect low on angst but heavy on the combustible chemistry novella. This is just a lovely little story of how two people with strong personalities develop a relationship and get their HEA. Hannah Donovan is Easton Wallace soon-to-be law partner. She needs money to fund the opening of their law firm, but she is strapped for cash. Her parents will only accept to fund the start-up capital if she is in a stable relationship. Her only option is pulling a con on her family, with the help of Matthew, her best friend’s brother. From the get go we see sparks flying. Even though the relationship was meant to be all for show, it didn’t take long for very real feelings to develop. I loved how genuine and real Hannah and Matthew were and I loved how their whole story turned out. It was cute and very touching at the same time.
