Jaap den Hollander is een gepensioneerd docent vakdidactiek Tekenen aan de Hogeschool Utrecht (Nederland) met interesse voor de fabricage van (teken)papier gemaakt van lompen in de 17e en 18e eeuw. In deze studie doet hij verslag naar zijn onderzoek over het leerdicht van Jean Imberdis dat o.a. handelt over het maken van handgeschept papier in de 17e eeuw.
