About this ebook

Will a former Olympic gold medalist and a sassy physical therapist find themselves buried in a blizzard of romantic mishaps in this small town Christmas romance?

Physical therapist Holly Maryn likes to play it safe. Losing her father in a tragic mountaineering accident left her extra careful in all areas of life—so careful, that her love life is frozen solid. But she’s content to weather another Christmas season buried in a winter wonderland of work, warmed by the laughter of her best girlfriends.

Former Olympic snowboarder Blake Bellows lives life on the edge. Or at least, he did until a degenerative bone disease stole his left leg and, with it, his career. Still, he's determined to climb his way back to the top of the athletic world, whatever the cost. But his dream is thrown into jeopardy when a wild run down the mountain tangles him in the skis and life of a golden-haired beauty.

An infuriatingly honest woman he never wants to see again.

And yet, she proves to be the one person equally as determined to see him recover.

Holly and Blake find common ground and overcome their fears together in this twinkling, mistletoe-clad tale of hope and perseverance.

This was a fun 5 star read. I really loved the characters and was pulled right into their story right from the beginning. Holly is a PT and lost her father tragically, since then she has thrown herself into her job and hasn’t been looking for love. She is struggling with getting past what happened. Blake was a snowboarder who once had it all, until the big C took his leg. He is offered a job as a trainer at his friend's gym, which helps him greatly. He ends up running into Holly (literally) out on the slopes. Fate of course steps in again and he ends up having Holly as his PT. Overall I really enjoyed this book and it’s characters. I enjoyed their bantering and watching their relationship develop. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. If you're looking for a good holiday romance this is the one for you. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

So. Freaking. Funny! the funniest book I've ever read. When you learn their back stories, what they've lost, how they're dealing with it, its a little sad. You feel for them. But that is not how it continues! I love the dual POV. 💞 Grumpy one falls for the Sunshine one. Did I mention Funny? Romantic. Steamy. Just one scene at the end but 🥵 This is NOT a Hallmark movie where they just kiss and credits. 😂 This is the first one I've read in the series but will definitely be reading the others!! . Quotes “Ah yes, the time of year when men scuttle out of their No Shave November dens to proudly display their beards and beaver skills. Good times.” . She took another sip of her terrifying potion. “Cream?” “Wait.” I lifted a hand and shook my head. “How do I know any cream you possess isn’t cursed? Not sure I can trust someone who does that to their coffee.” . “Why all the anger?” I couldn’t help but goad her. “Let the soft rock feels in and exhale the whirling black of eternal oblivion.”

About the author

Jae Dawson is a yoga-pants wearing, messy-bun topped Seattleite who sparkles in the PNW daylight and writes romance by misty moonlight. She's a secret dog whisperer, a hippie reader of the stars and planets, and a whirlwind world traveler. But you'll most often find her haunting the moss-draped forests around her home with a tumbler of coffee and a camera around her neck, talking to the woodland creatures like a Disney princess. Her stories are slice of life romances baked with quirky characters and misadventures, heated to perfection, and drizzled with humor for a sweet finish. Spend your holidays in Hartwood Falls, falling in love with her debut Hartwood Holiday series.
