Treasure Fever: The Hunt for El Dorado by James B McPike takes you on a proverbial roller coaster ride to Spain and Central America for the lost gold treasure of El Dorado. An FBI agent, Max Finley, pursues Lexa Tantaros, an archaeologist from Athens University, who is wanted for stealing ancient documents from a church in Spain. The documents, written in an ancient language, holds hidden information regarding the secret whereabouts of the infamous El Dorado. Will Lexa find the Lost City of Gold before international authorities capture or kill her? The characters are real and memorable. The plot is well-developed, propelling you from one perilous event to another. A surprising climax that’s not expected.
