Wonderful addition to the OED, with some of the rich history of the English language. It doesn't quite have everything I am looking for, as even Mr. Halliwell-Phillipps' notes refer some definitions to the vague bucket of, "as one would expect" rather than a cold, academic and plain-spoken definition. Perhaps we are too far removed from the archaic to know what "one would expect?" Still, a valuable work for any library.
