The Parousia, by Russell, is one of the best books written on the subject. It's thorough and complete. It shows, without any doubt, that the "coming of Jesus" mentioned in the New Testament was fulfilled with the War of the Jews. I highly recommend it.

If you think you understand the Bible and the ministry of Jesus, you might want to read this book. It will change your view of eschatology (end times). Do not read this if you aren't willing to change your mind to something that is more rational than what you have been taught all of your life. The book honors good hermenuetics and Christian principles.
