This is a great book to read. For those who are wanting something different, this is it. The book is a start-up and introduction to the characters and lives of those in the medical field as well as those that are paranormal and the collaboration and co-existence of the two. (humans and paranormal ie: Vampires, Werewolves, Angels, Jinn, Fae, and more just to name a few) You will find that this is a light but very savory reading in which the reader will be fulfilled but you do feel, while reading the book that a deep edginess and suspense is to come in the next books to follow as subtle hints are given in the book which will spark the interest of the reader to follow up and want to know more. This is a great book as the medical process is true to form when describing certain techniques to certain situations and the characters are those that you can identify with via friends, family, or even yourself. I have started reading the second book which is called the, "The Paramedic's Angel' and already, my interest is piqued within the first few pages. This book to me, was refreshing and definitely different but great. This book will not disappoint. Thumbs up to Mr James Davis for the unique but great twist on the storyline with the medical field and the paranormal combined. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well written, entertaining, cute, too which is important. The characters were all interesting. I reserve 5 stars for books like "The Stand" so y'all don't think 4 stars is less than perfect from me.
