This story kept me turning the pages. Charlotte and Victor were forced to wed at a young age. Out of a sense of duty, Victor left her alone for several years. I loved how Charlotte blossomed into a beautiful, caring, and intelligent woman. She was able to keep her home running and making a living. Victor was hesitant to return, but pushed to do so, he was very surprised, though secrets still remained between them. He was more of a rogue when he came back. I highly recommend this story.
