This book is a real treasure. Janet Evanovich never disappoints. Gabriela Rose is back again, and this book is even better than The Recovery Agent. This high stakes, globe trotting adventure novel will take the reader for riotous ride. The first novel established the character as an expert at recovering stolen items. This time, she needs to track down several stolen treasures because her ex-husband's cousin has been framed for the heists. Rose is no Stephanie Plum. This woman has skills.

his is a fun romp through Europe, as Gabrielle searches for a missing treasure to help her ex-husband cousin. The cousin was accused of making bad investments when a number of items he insured were stolen. He was thought to be in on it, and is hiding from the authorities and his employer. Lots of craziness ensues, as they search for the kings' ransom. I loved the relationship between Gabrielle and her ex. Their banter is fun and engaging.
