I had trouble getting on track with this book at the beginning. and somewhere in the middle. I was losing interest. I'm glad I stuck with it though as it came into it's own at the end.

I've read a fair number of Jeffrey's books, and this is so far his best. With great action and characters, it was hard to put down!

Fast paced. A very good read for sci-fi lovers!!

Jeffrey A. Carver is the author of sixteen SF novels, including the ongoing Chaos Chronicles. Equally popular are his Star Rigger stories, including Dragon Space and Nebula finalist Eternity’s End. While his work is usually called hard SF, his greatest love remains character, story, and a healthy sense of wonder.
