About this ebook

A power-hungry demon. An experiment gone wrong. Sometimes surviving is all that matters.

The demon Azazel will stop at nothing to collect more souls, but his greed results in an abomination more powerful than he imagined: The Unnamed. Now he must survive their wrath or be permanently eliminated.

Haedyn has always known she was different, and not just because she’s blind and an orphan. Her pale skin and deep red eyes make her an outcast. But when the orphanage is attacked, she discovers the truth – she’s the last Unnamed, an abomination marked for death.

Now, she must find a way to survive in a world where she doesn’t belong.

The devil, or in this case the demon, is certainly in the details of this story. It was fascinating, with in-depth characters and full of the details that you want to see in a prequel. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Jennifer L. Oliver was first bitten by the story bug when she saw Star War IV at the tender age of 5. Once she realized that her mind held the key to doorways of dimensions far beyond our own, she found sanity in escaping from the doldrums of the physical world to the magical places she created in her stories.

During her many years of working at a daily newspaper, she honed her writing skills in secret. Now Jennifer brings that same opportunity of escape and entertainment to readers of her dark urban fantasy and paranormal thrillers.

She lives in North Carolina with her two pups, who keep her on her toes. When she's not writing, you can find her giggling with her granddaughters, and enjoying time with her family and friends.
