An enchanting tale which features the strength and courage of a female protagonist. Strong family values and a dedication to helping others through hard times underly the plot. Appropriate for middle grade readers (ages 8-12).

Debut novelist Jessica D’Agostini has lived in Miami, Florida since 1990. Her love of magic and adventure drew her to children’s books and pursuing a more creative life. Now, she spends hours glued to her computer meeting courageous characters, casting spells, and exploring fantasy worlds.
