About this ebook

Bri Welch likes to play it safe. I don’t. She’s wound tight, and I’m all about a good party. But there’s something about her that makes me want to pull those uptight layers away one-by-delicious-one. But the worst thing is she makes me want more...

This is an awesome NA read that grabbed my attention from the very first page. The story has a great flow and the character development is excellent. Josh and Bri's story might seem like the typical bad boy/ good girl storyline but underneath there is so much more to these characters. He's the quintessential slacker in college where she's the over achiever, together they bring a balance to each other that they have both struggled to find. This is the second in the series but in no way do you have to read the previous book first. I do however recommend both of them. This author has a nice writing style that brings the stories to life.

There's rebellion on both sides. Josh hates following the rules. Bri wants to feel the rush of stepping away from her good girl persona. Wanting More is more complex than a good girl going bad. Josh needed to set priorities and learn how to focus on accomplishing them. Bri needed to learn their was more to experience than grades and school. I received an ARC of Wanting More by Jessica Ruddick via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Cute romance, although it felt like an afterschool special sometimes.

About the author

Jessica Ruddick is a 2014 Golden Heart finalist for her new adult novel, Letting Go, which was inspired by her own college experiences. She is married to her college sweetheart-their first date was a fraternity toga party (nothing inspires love like a toga, right?). These days she is a high school English teacher by day and young adult/new adult writer by night, lunch break, soccer practice, basically whenever she can squeeze in a minute to write. She lives with her husband and two sons in Virginia.
