About this ebook

When disease spread through the world, some humans became ravenous vampires. Those that didn't live in colonies underground.

Kayla lives in a colony and is a Bellator, a warrior who fights vampires.

There are three rules she has to follow if she wants to survive:

Rule #1—Never go out after dark.

Rule #2—Always carry a weapon.

Rule #3—No matter what, never EVER get bit.

But during a moment of weakness, she messes up and is left trying to survive in the world above.

Then she meets Sylas, a gorgeous, charming human, who offers to help her. At least, that's what Kayla believes at first. But the longer she lives in the brutal world of vampires, the more she realizes nothing is what it appears to be, both above ground and under it.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't finish this book. It looked and sounded nice, but each chapter ended with her just blacking out, and then waking up in her bed, and everyone just continuing like normal. I just couldn't grasp the story, and it feels like somebody took the book and tore a bunch of pages out. I'm sorry for the bad review, but if physically pains me to read this.
