While trying to save a bear cub from drowning, Yakari falls into the river and hits his head on a rock. By the time he washes ashore and is found by a distraught bear mother, he has forgotten who he is. The she-bear is convinced that he is her son, turned into a human by the Bear Spirit, and begins to train him for his new life. Job (Jobin, André) Scénariste Né le 25/10/1927 Rien ne prédestinait André Jobin à devenir scénariste de bandes dessinées. Né en 1927 à Delémont (Suisse) mais possédant la double nationalité : suisse et française, diplômé de l'Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme et de l'Institut des Sciences Sociales et Politiques de Lille, il s'illustre d'abord dans le journalisme politique et culturel en Suisse romande. En 1964, il crée "Le Crapaud à Lunettes", l'hebdomadaire des écoliers romands. C'est pour les jeunes lecteurs de ce magazine qu'en 1966, sous le nom de Job, il entreprend d'écrire des scénarios de BD dont il confie le dessin à Derib. Naissent ainsi les aventures de "Pythagore", puis celles de "Yakari", qui de 1974 à 1995, donnera son nom à un mensuel.
