Joe Mutizwa has thirty-three years’ experience in business having worked for Anglo American Corporation, The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and for twenty nine years with Delta Corporation Limited in Zimbabwe. Delta is one of Zimbabwe's largest private companies. Joe spent 10 years as Chief Executive of Delta from 2002 to 2012 which covered the period when Zimbabwe's economy experienced the world's worst recorded hyperinflation which peaked at 230 million percent per annum in December 2008. Joe has deep experience in successfully leading a business through conditions of macro-economic and political turbulence. Joe is a former political prisoner who spent three years at Wha Wha Detention Centre during Zimbabwe's war of liberation. Joe retired as CEO of Delta in 2012 and is now a leadership development consultant and a non executive director on several company boards apart from leading his own start-up company. He has a first-class honours degree from the London School of Economics, an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Science degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from HEC-Paris and Oxford University.
