About this ebook

Mr. and Mrs. Kittyfield and their four kittensTattywat, Olive, Bunson, and Sylviedecide to go fishing on a beautiful spring day. While the family is enjoying their excursion at the river, their mischievous neighbors, Rattatapp and Rattitatt Raccoon, play a practical joke on the Kittyfields.

Rattatapp and Rattitatt take all of the food out of the familys home. That night, the raccoons had fun sharing the food with all of their friends. But the Kittyfield six-some was very sad. They did not catch any fish to eat that day, and when they arrived home, their food was all gone. The kittens went to bed on empty stomachs and woke up hungry and crying in the morning.

The Kittyfields and the Practical Joke, a picture book for young children, shares the whimsical story of what happens to one cat family when two impish raccoons play a practical joke.
