Jackson “Jax” Caruso’s parents fought for the Independents. They lost.
This fast-paced sci-fi adventure picks up fifteen years later. Jax is just trying to get by without attracting imperial attention. After all, food and, more importantly, beer ain’t free.
He’s got a fast ship, two droids, and not much else. So when he’s approached about a job that seems perfect, he pulls in some friends, ok, more like acquaintances, and sets off.
Seems like a simple job, doing something good for folks that can’t do for themselves. And getting paid for it!
Maybe it’s time Jax re-thinks his ‘any job will do’ motto.
Learning that your client isn’t who you thought they were can suck. Finding out that you’re the bad guy can be just the nudge you need to do the right thing. But will it?
The money is really good, after all.
