Another rousing adventure in San Francisco with Mrs. Kelly. It seems her past has caught up with her and now she might finally get some answers. Except there’s a murderer on the loose and they’re bound and determined to keep their secrets hidden and Mrs. Kelly silenced. With the Palace Hotel and its employees in the crosshairs this case just might be too much even with the help of Detective Fisher. Thoroughly enjoyable and immersive story! I like the strong lead female character but she has to prove her innocence. There are several twists and turns in the story that keep you guessing. Like the background and the setting of the story. There are some interesting characters in this story as well. It is not what you expect. In a good way. Goodread.
