About this ebook

After my last cheating ex, I’ve sworn off men. Until Lewis comes along and steals my breath and my good sense.

I've never been one to lust after guys. But Lewis is six and a half feet of rugged man, and he's...eye-catching. Sexy. And silently brooding in all the best ways.

The more time I spend with him, the naughtier my thoughts are of us together, and he's not helping put a stop to it. It's infuriating. I'm fantasizing, and lusting, and I can't remember why I wanted to stay away.

But Lewis carries his own relationship baggage. Baggage that could break me in ways no ex-boyfriend ever did.

Despite the safe, logical reasons I shouldn’t get involved, Lewis might be the one man I can’t resist.

This hot, romantic comedy will have you intermittently fanning yourself and laughing at Lewis’s sexy approach at convincing Gen they’re right for each other. Grab Never Date A Player now!

EXCERPT:

He tugs down his shorts—and goes completely naked.

“Um?”

He glances up. “You can stay in your panties. I’m getting clean… What? I trust you not to grope me.” He grins.

Had a hard time with this one. Too long and very boring. Sometimes, too many story lines will ruin the flow of a book. Almost gave up on it.

Vivid, honest writing style puts the reader right inside the hearts and minds of the characters. The second in the series, this book is entirely from Gen's first-person POV. This story mostly runs concurrently with the previous book, Off Limits, as Cali and Gen's stories are interwined by their friendship. Each does work as a standalone, but you'll get more out of each story by reading both of them. We met Lewis and his "girlfriend" Mira in Cali's book, and here we get the backstory of their relationship and how it has affected the women that Lewis has dated. Gen is absolutely (and rightly) fed up with cheating boyfriends, so she steers clear of Lewis, despite their intensely overwhelming chemistry, believing that Mira is his girlfriend and therefore his interest in Gen proves he is a cheater. This absorbing story goes well beyond just Gen's romance with Lewis. Gen has serious confidence issues, which are complicated by the workplace sexual harassment she endures and the messed-up family history she has. Both of these issues are worked through, along with Gen empowering herself by training for and competing in a local "Mudder" event. I really liked the way the author explored the conflicting emotions Gen had when weighing the pros and cons of reporting the harassment vs the consequences. In addition, this story is also about the depths of her friendship with Cali, and how that friendship grows and strengthens along the way. The sexual harassment storyline that started in Cali's book is satisfyingly resolved in this story, along with Lewis and Gen's very sweet HEA. The last part of the book leaves off with a bit of a cliffy to launch the next book, which pairs Mira with Cali's brother, Tyler. I'm really enjoying this series, and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys complex, realistic romances with three-dimensional characters who are not perfect, don't always do the right thing, but manage to work it all out anyway.
