This short romance is dual POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy, small town, marriage of convenience romance. I enjoyed Kody’s love for his daughter and his determination to provide everything she needed. I enjoyed Paige’s love for Kody’s daughter as well as her compassion for those in difficult situations and her determination to ensure that justice prevailed. I enjoyed the relationship development and the physical intimacies. I enjoyed the brightness of Kody’s daughter.

Kody is fighting for custody for his daughter Sadie, and Paige needs health insurance for her diabetes. They enter a mutual agreement to get married but as you can imagine, they slowly fall for each other. This story moved me so much, Paige was a wonderful likeable character that really tugged at my heart strings. Paige and Kody were absolutely perfect together! This story is part of a series which has been so interesting and engaging. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
