Lee Brainerd has been a teacher, editor, and textbook writer for over 34 years. Brainerd has taught English as a Foreign Language to K-12 in Senegal, West Africa, Boston, and New York, and to amnesty seekers in Los Angeles. She was an adult educator with National Education Center for 10 years, where she taught adults who were training for civil service, management and secretarial careers.
