This is a short story that fits in with the author's Club Indigo series, particularly book 7 (Conflicted). We're introduced to Luke and Jewel while they are still in high school, finding their way in life and in their relationship. This is a real opposites attract story but it's handled with such empathy and compassion that it's really wonderful to read. I loved that neither of the characters are what you would expect if you're just looking from the outside. This book comes with a HFN ending

A cool short story. I liked the characters and the storyline. Would love to see this go further in another book.

About the author

Karen Nappa is a bicontinental writing team formed by Ellen and Claudia in 2018. Their adventure started with a text message about being trapped in a laundromat and how that could be a great title. An idea was formed.
